The Investment Atlas of subsoil management is listed as having 140 areas
State Service for Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine updated the Investment Atlas of subsoil management. Six new items were added to the catalogue. These are areas with carbon, waters and non-metal ores deposits. Information as to each item is available in the Atlas on the official web site of the Service. It should be noted that all the areas added were nominated by the representatives of business community.

“The Investment Atlas is updated and complemented with new areas, which are nominated by subsoil users, on a regular basis. It is also complemented with the areas, which are prepared for the auction by the regulatory institution on their own initiative, - reminded the head of State Service for Geology and Subsoil Roman Opinamkh. - Specialists are currently working on new offers that will be published in the online guide in the nearest future."

Six new sites, including: Klishchiivske field (refractory clays), Ozarinetska area (sand), Bystrivske deposit (underground mineral waters), Khudlivska area (andesite), Oleksandrivska area (granite), Budyschansko-Chutivska area (oil, gas, natural condensate) - are located in Donetsk, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Zhytomyr and Poltava regions. They will be put up for auction according to the bidding schedule. The service encourages subsoil users to study new offers and follow the updates of the Investment Atlas.

It is to be recalled that, the first online auction this year for the sale of special permits for the development and geological study of twelve sites took place on April 16. As a result of open competitions, eight licenses were sold, the value of which reached UAH 3,310,429. Four other areas are put up for online auction again with a 50% off the initial cost.
