According to the World Mining Data 2018 report made for International Organizing Committee of the World Mining Congresses Ukraine ranked 27th in the world rating with 96.9 million metric tons of extracted mineral resources. Here you can see the most prominent volumes:
Iron and ferro-alloy metals
7th place in the world in Iron: 40 million metric tons and 2.6% of the world market (after Australia, Brazil, China, India, Russia and South Africa)
8th place in Manganese: 492 thousand tons and 3.2% (after Australia, Brazil, China, Gabon, Ghana, India and South Africa)
6th place in Titanium: 340 thousand metric tons and 4.9% (after Australia, Canada, China, Mozambique and South Africa)
Non-ferrous metals
2th place in Gallium: 10 metric ton and 5.2% (after China)
5th place in Germanium: 1 metric ton and 0.8% (after China, Japan, Russia and USA)
Industrial Minerals
12th place in the world in Bentonite: 220 thousand metric tons and 1.4% (after Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Japan, Russia, Turkey and USA)
8th in Graphite: 12 thousand metric tons and 1.1% (after Brazil, Canada, China, India, North Korea, Mexico and Russia)
6th in Kaolin: 2.3 million metric tons and 6% (after China, Czech Republic, Germany, Indonesia, USA)
9th in Zirconium: 29.3 thousand metric tons and 2.1% (after Australia, China, Indonesia, Kenya, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, USA
