The Service joined the national project “Big Construction”, which is under the patronage of the President of Ukraine, offering the fields with minerals deposits, that are needed for the road construction and major repairs.

In particular, the Service picked up 79 objects with confirmed stocks of sand, and minerals for break stone and quarry stone: granite, migmatite, gneiss, labradorite, charnockite.

“It is the first wave of offers. We studied, which minerals are needed for the construction of regional, local and national roads, arranged such objects, and determined, what State Standards of Ukraine are applied to them. Anyone can purchase a field by auction. The funds from their sale will fill the state budget, "the head of the Service said”.

All facilities are located within 80 kilometers of the priority roads, according to the construction plan for 2020-2021. They are located in five regions identified by Ukravtodor as those where there is an acute shortage of construction raw materials: Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia.

"Currently, we are selecting new areas of subsoil with sand deposits in Kirovograd and Dnipropetrovsk regions. They will be added to the list of offers soon", - Roman Opimakh said.
