New passenger terminal in Zaporizhzhia is completed

The construction of the new passenger terminal in Zaporizhzhia international airport is completed.

According to CFTS, it was stated by Zaporizhzhia Mayor Volodymyr Buriak on his Facebook page.

“Covid -19 pandemic quarantine brought some adjustments as to the launching new passenger terminal in Zaporizhzhia international airport, but its construction is completed. It only remains to get all the documents required” - noted Mr. Buriak.
 

The Mayor of Zaporizhzhia also informed that the area of the terminal is 12 000 sqm, and its traffic capacity is 400 passengers per hour. Moreover, there are internal reserves to increase this figure.

“When the terminal is open, it is planned to launch big buses from the city center to the airport for the convenience of passengers” – added Mr. Buriak.

Let us recall that CFTS earlier informed about unusual lightning setting in the new terminal of Zaporizhzhia airport. A preliminary simulation of the luminous flux was performed and the required number of lamps and their power were calculated.
