UKRAINE INCREASED THE EXPORT OF IRON ORE BY 0,9% IN NOVEMBER
In November 2020, Ukrainian mining and metallurgical companies increased the export of ore and iron ore concentrates by 0,9% compared to November last year, which is now 3.35 million tons.

In monetary terms the export of iron ore raw materials increased by 90,1% compared to October 2019, which is now $389,3 Mln.

These data are provided by customs statistics.

In January-November 2020, Ukraine exported 41,8 million tons of iron ore. This is 14.4% more than in the eleven months of 2019.

In January-November, the country's mining companies increased their revenue from the export of iron ore compared to the corresponding period last year - by 16,6%, to $ 3,7 billion.

China remains the main consumer of Ukrainian iron ore. Its share in exports for eleven months was 60%. Poland is in second place (8,9%), in third place is the Czech Republic (7%).

As GMK Center reported, at the end of 2019, Ukraine increased its iron ore exports by 8,1% compared to 2018 - up to 39,9 million tons.In monetary terms, the figure increased by 18,5% - to $ 3,398 billion.

The main producers of iron ore in Ukraine are Sukha Balka Plant, Zaporizhzhya Iron and Steel Works, Ingulets Mining and Processing Plant, Krivorozhsky Iron and Steel Works, Poltava Mining and Processing Plant, Severny Mining and Processing Plant, Central Mining and Processing Plant, Yuzhny Mining and Processing Plant, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
